Categories & Authors explained in plain English.

Posted on April 14, 2008 by ilssnoisle

Categories are WordPress’ way of organizing posts with a similar subject, think of them as subject headings. As you work on this project, you may want to add the appropriate categories for the type of questions you have for ILS vendors.

Since this blog has multiple contributors, it is highly recommended that you identify yourself as the author of your posts.

Topeka Shawnee PL added a Meebo widget to unsuccessful keyword searches in their library catalog so that when a customer searches by keyword and doesn’t find anything he or she can contact them via IM to ask for help – it really works, I tried it at the web site. A good example of using web 2.0 to enhance our opac if we get one that is flexible enough.
